Requirements:
- ASE-Certified Master Technician (A1-A8) required
- L1 certification required
- 5+ years of automotive repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic ability including drivability, electrical, no-start, and modern scan tool diagnostics
- Must have own professional tools
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in a high-production shop environment preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be physically able to perform technician duties and lifting requirements
- Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be dependable, professional, and work with integrity
- Must work well with a team and contribute to a positive shop culture

Service Writer Assistant
Family-owned and operated since 1998, Abington Sunoco Auto Service Tire & Towing prides itself on creating a quality professional team. We are looking for a service writer assistant to join our team. You will be the first face a customer sees when they come in and leave a lasting impression. We are looking for someone with customer service and sales experience. You will be helping price out parts, order parts, and communicate services with customers.

Entry Level Auto Mechanic / Car Inspector
1-2 years' experience preferred but will train the right person.
Approx, starting wage 40-50k

Full time Flatbed Tow Operator with experience
Note: Will train the right person for this position.
Abington Sunoco has been in business for over 25 years. We operate a successful towing & repair facility, and our current team has earned a solid reputation in our community. Full time position for a light duty tow driver. 40-50 hours per week. M-f Daytime hours with some Saturday work typically ½ days. We typically do not schedule nights; Saturday afternoons or Sundays.
Hourly wage - Overtime pay – Over 40 hours
Additional commission work is available if wanted.
Most of our work is accident management and some roadside assistance, and with our own cash customers - we almost never transport more than one vehicle at a time, only use car carriers.
We cover eastern Mass for the most part, however occasional out of state transport does occur.

- Live as close to our shop in Abington as possible
- We will train the right person for this job
- Towing for the local municipality and police departments

Part time Cashier, shop helper
Family-owned and operated since 1998, Abington Sunoco Auto Service Tire & Towing prides itself on creating a quality professional team. We are looking for a part-time cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will be the first face a customer sees when they come in and leave a lasting impression. We strive to make this position as comfortable as possible for you by working with an excellent team in the shop and many included benefits.
Cashier tasks include but are not limited to:
- Operating the cash register for our gas and repair customers as well as store sales and lottery.
- Daily inventory and cash management.
- Take part in the overall stocking and cleanliness of the store and pump areas.
Shop duties include:
- Shuttling customers must have a valid driver's license, and some road testing of cars.
- Assist with parts ordering and returns.
- General upkeep of the repair shop.
- Approx 30 hours per week to start with a fair starting wage.
- Full time position with benefits
- can be made available for the right person but part-time people are invited to apply also.
- No experience necessary we can train we just ask that you have a great attitude are willing to lean and be dependable.
